About the Creator
Hi! I am Kanaya J. Veil and I write dark fantasy rooted in myth, power, and transformation.
Not just stories—but worlds.
Every series I create lives inside a larger universe—where gods walk beside mortals, angels fall, and power always comes at a cost.
My work blends gothic fantasy, psychological tension, and mythological storytelling into something meant to be experienced—not just read.
As a lifelong storyteller and dreamer, I blend the eerie and the beautiful to explore what it means to be human—even for those who aren’t.
My books draw from mythology, folklore, fairytales, and the strange corners of imagination, creating worlds where gods walk beside mortals, magic slips through the cracks of reality, and destiny rarely behaves the way it should.
Originally from Philadelphia, I now live just outside Atlanta with my two children, a horde of pets, and far too many story ideas. When I’m not writing, I’m usually dog grooming, hiking, cooking/baking, or studying the strange and spiritual—research, of course, for my next book or meditation.
Through Everhive House, my creative home for stories and mythic worlds, I continue to build new realms where magic, mystery, and humanity intertwine.
